Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Engineer serves as the primary support resource for the company’s customers, partners and sales team. Responsible for working collaboratively with the sales team as product advocate and technical advisor. Identifies and provides reliable solutions for all commercial and technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Always represent the company in a professional manner.
· Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements – to understand, anticipate and practically meet their needs.
· Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
· Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to new and existing customers.
· Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases.
· Offer customers the product or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of technical specification, quality, price and delivery of the company’s range of products.
· Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and business needs.
· Prepare pricing and sales reports to contribute to the overall business strategy, including use of benchmarking to gauge market levels accurately.
· Attend and actively contribute to Sales meetings to keep colleagues informed about customers and your product range.
· Attending occasional site visits and customer meetings in order to provide technical expertise of the company’s product range.
· Resolve internal and external technical / sales support requests or issues related to product selection, application, specification, installation, etc...
· Interact extensively with customers, partners and team via phone and ema\ Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
· Any other task or duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
· Technical Diploma or equivalent experience in industrial sales preferred
· Basic understanding of mechanical control and electrical systems
· Ability to read mechanical and technical blueprints
· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Customer Service or Sales Support experience.
· Working understanding of network communications technology
· Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
· Excellent communication skills both written and oral, Fluent in English
· Experience using ERP/MRP systems with preference to Microsoft Dynamics Nav
